Ecospray started in 2005 as an engineering company. For almost 20 years, we have made maritime and industrial operations more sustainable, through the cleaning and treatment of polluting emissions.
With offices in Italy, Miami and now a dedicated warehouse in Singapore, today Ecospray offers a wide range of technological solutions, ranging from carbon capture, green power, renewable, clean fuels and air pollution control, that are moving forward with the decarbonization and the creation of green energy.
With green, smart and remarkable technology we are turning the maritime and land industries green, reducing dependency on fossil fuels, and significantly advancing energy transitions towards the 2050 Zero Emission target.
We specialized in developing customized solutions to meet the specific needs of our customers and complete turnkey installations. These range from basic and detailed engineering to procurement, building and commissioning activities, as well as ongoing maintenance programs which ensure that your system performs according to the original design throughout its lifetime.
Marine
Ecospray has developed one of the largest portfolios of EGCSs (Exhaust gas Cleaning Systems) in the marine sector, with more than 700 systems successfully installed on cruise, ferry and commercial vessels becoming one of the world’s largest marine EGCS makers. Thanks to hundreds of thousands of operational hours and proven performance in emission abatement, we have gained the expertise to support any eventual upgrades needed to get better performance, reliability, or increased abatement efficiency. Our advanced air quality systems are time-tested and offer proven performance for any kind of vessel, both for retrofitting and new building projects.
- Open Loop and Hybrid EGCS (scrubber) for SOx abatement –
- Advanced wash water filtration for soot and pollutant abatement in open loop design EGCSs
- WESP (Wet Electrostatic Precipitator) for black smoke, plume and PM abatement –
- SCR systems for NOx abatement –
- Methane slip reduction for LNG-fueled engines

In addition, Ecospray is studying and developing a range of customized technologies to help ship owners find the right solution to achieve decarbonization, in line with the type of vessel, application, ship size or operating profile.
IMO decarbonization targets are our drive to define development pathway with these carbon capture technologies:
- Carbon capture with amine
- Carbon capture with calcium hydroxide
- Carbon capture with Molten Carbonate Fuel Cells (MCFC)
Renewables
Decarbonization is the main driver for our land-based and maritime applications. We support lower GHG emission through advanced technologies for compact in situ production & supply of LNG and BIO-LNG from landfills, farming and organic waste, kick-starting the decarbonization of heavy-duty transport and shipping fleets towards carbon neutrality without further delay.
We also contribute to the reduction of the environmental footprint of traditional oil&gas sources, avoiding the need for flaring and turning waste gases into ready-to-use energy.
The CO2 liquefaction system is the newest solution to be introduced by Ecospray to support customers on their journey towards decarbonization. In fact, the system can be integrated with biomethane liquefaction from the biogas upgrading module, providing a truly carbon negative fuel.
Our high-performance technologies to produce sustainable fuels for automotive and ship transport are based on the circular economy model. From the biogas/gas flange to the distributor, our turnkey systems allow for the profitable conversion of agricultural biogas plants or the use of waste to produce bio-LNG.
- Pre-treatment to remove H2S, VOC and other contaminants prior to conversion into biomethane
- Biogas upgrading removes CO2 without the use of chemicals and produces biomethane with a high CH4 content (>97%)
- Biomethane and methane liquefaction solutions for power generation and sustainable fuels
- Natural gas separation & liquefaction (NGL & LNG) from flare/APG/wells/pipelines
- Liquefaction of CO2 into an industrial/food grade-quality product
- Lean gas to power to turn lean gas into viable energy.
